Magnetic Therapy

The use of magnets for healing purposes has been used for many centuries.  It is even believed by some that Cleopatra wore magnetic jewelry for therapeutic reasons.  Magnetic therapy is employed as a healing device by many countries in the world and is gaining in popularity as alternative medical treatments are constantly being explored.

Magnets have been known to improve the healing process by improving blood circulation and blood flow.  It is believed that the magnets attract the iron in the blood toward them, thus bringing more oxygen to the area of injury, stimulating wound repair and bringing pain relief to needed areas.  It is also believed that they interfere with muscle contraction, thus, preventing muscle spasms that are involved in many types of pain. Magnets effectively treat muscle aches and pain if the magnet is placed in the physical area of the pain.  Not only does it relax the muscles around where the magnets are placed, but it also results in reduced tension and stress.
